Roach says that Amir will throw only jabs for the first four to five rounds

In the recent news, Freddie Roach, the coach of Khan told that Amir Khan will only throw jabs for the first four to five rounds on his fight against Marcos Maidana. As Scott Gilfoid, told on his post on boxingnews24.com this will be like a fight against the powerful praying mantis and a harmless beetle.

Freddie Roach also starting to notice of what Khan is up between his fight to Maidana. He also says to an article at the Telegraph.co.uk  “Maidana is very tough, and a very durable guy. He’s genuinely going to be very dangerous. He’s not a great boxer in technical terms, but his strength is his durability. He could punch you out of there early or punch you out there late. He has a very good right hand. I think the key to this fight is the jab. We won’t use the fight hand for a few rounds. I’ve told Amir to keep his right hand in his pocket for four to five rounds. He will be very dangerous for the entire fight, so we will have to be very, very precise. But I think this is a great fight for Amir.”

But there is a problem with the strategy of Roach. The team of Maidana has a plan to cut off the ring on Khan when he will try to running around the ring when throwing jabs. When the plan of Maidana will be successful, it could stop Khan and knock him down permanently.
